I have done this before. It’s gratifying and awful all at the same time. And I know thousands of others o this exact same thing. Maybe Youtube should sell ad space.
See, it’s funny because YouTube does and has pretty much from the beginning. And their ad servers are better than their video servers.
But it’s true! YouTube knows it can make a lot of money off of ads! And your business can profit from YouTube’s high traffic through paid advertising. Eric Siu wrote an article on this very topic titled, “4 Tips to Improve Your YouTube Marketing” in which he emphasises analytics (as always), and creativity when creating YouTube ads. too often have I just clicked “Skip Ad” on YouTube. Be weird! Make your video attractive!
Johnathan Long wrote an article on the importance of Instagram marketing titled, “7 Marketing Tips to Help Grow Your Brand on Instagram.” This comprehensive guide reads a little bit like John assumes you have no idea what social media is, but it does make valid points! Instagram has services built into its system designed to help you. What is more directly talked about is being appealing, but not overwhelming to your audience. How many times you post does matter! I have unfollowed companies and some people because it seems like they have nothing better to do than spam social media.
Lastly, Snapchat has been a major player in marketing as of late. Kate Talbot wrote, “5 Ways to Improve Your Snapchat Marketing” which I found to be incredibly helpful. Kate talks about the importance of using fan submitted content on your own story, as well as company promotions to entice customers already viewing the story. And another point is to get your followers to link to other social media channels you have. Not everyone will look at your story all the time. So get them connected elsewhere!
As I said in my last post, ideally you will have all three bases covered. This will maximise coverage and will pay off in the long-term!
